I have double folding doors with glass in them that lead from my front hallway to my lounge room. The glass let’s a lot of heat out and cold in.
Last year I used a woollen blanket that I pinned to the top of the door jamb inside the lounge room. It worked like a charm to retain more warmth but I couldn’t use the doors to get to the front door if anyone came.
This year i have hung the blanket on the hallway side and can open the doors. It doesn’t retain as much warmth but is a little bit more usable.

Good on you. I say every little bit helps and collectively it all makes a big difference in the comfort of a home.
Thanks for the idea.
